Julie serves on multiple boards, including York County Economic Alliance and Explore York to help attract new business while protecting the jobs that already exist here. She also supports local entrepreneurs through her role on the White Rose Ventures Advisory Board.

A growing York County needs housing options that work for young families, seniors, and everyone in between. Julie is committed to working with developers, municipalities, and nonprofits to expand affordable housing opportunities across the county.
Farming
York County’s agricultural heritage is worth protecting. Julie supports next-generation farmers through county loan programs, and she works to balance smart growth with land preservation, ensuring we keep our communities green.
York County has preserved more than 50,000 acres of farmland for future generations – making it one of the most successful farmland preservation programs in the nation.
Since the county started its Agricultural Land Preservation Program in 1990, we have preserved a total of 50,050 acres of farmland and 354 farms.
Broadband Internet
Infrastructure in today’s age is not just roads and bridges but also the fiber-optic broadband cables that enable individuals, businesses and communities to digitally connect. One of her first campaign promises Julie promised to expand the fiber broadband infrastructure in York County.
Through building 16 miles of fiber under the Heritage Rail Trail she leveraged a county owned asset that can assist in connecting 3,000+ homes in southern York County.
In addition to fiber broadband in the county’s rural areas, Julie has helped lead enhanced development of the wireless network in the City of York and Hanover Borough.
